Last October, the Charlotte County Chamber of Commerce had their 93rd Annual Banquet. As usual, there was networking, food, music, awards and applause. This year, we were up front and center in front of the podium getting an up close and personal view of all the recipients.
Friends and businesses were called up one by one, and were deserving of their awards.
The time came that they were announcing the 4 Under 40 award, which acknowledges young professionals in Charlotte County who are blazing a path to success and making a notable impact on the community.
The “4 Under 40” acknowledges the up-and-coming business and community leaders who live or work in the Charlotte County. The honorees, all under the age of 40, were chosen from nominations based on professional accomplishments, community involvement and commitment to Charlotte County. Little did I know, my name was called among, 3 others: Vanessa Oliver, Frank S. Leontitsis, and Jeffrey Kuhns. I was very honored and surprised to receive such an award.
I love Charlotte County, and am passionate for helping in any way that I can to keep this a wonderful place to live, work, and play.
Thank you to all who nominated me - it was truly a rewarding surprise!!
